Acceptance of These Terms

These are the terms for buying from tentmount.com or using this site. We start with how you can use the site, then how purchases work, then everything else.

When you visit www.TentMount.com, place an order, or create a customer account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The site is operated by Stark Side LLC, a limited liability company organized in Colorado, doing business as Stark Side Gear. Our office is in Buena Vista, Colorado. You can reach us at sales@starksidegear.com or (303) 351-2227, Monday through Saturday, 9:30am to 6:30pm Mountain time.

These terms apply alongside our privacy policy, the Shopify-managed shipping policy, the Shopify-managed refund policy, the limited warranty, and the return policy. If anything here conflicts with those, the specific policy controls for the topic it covers.

Use of the Site

You can browse tentmount.com, read product pages, watch install videos, and place orders. That's what the site is for.

You agree not to do the following on the site:

  • Copy, scrape, or reproduce site content for republication without written permission.
  • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scripts) at a volume that affects site performance for other customers.
  • Probe, reverse engineer, or attempt to access parts of the site that aren't publicly available.
  • Submit false information at checkout or in a customer account.
  • Upload or transmit content that contains malware, exploits, or anything designed to interfere with the site.

We can suspend or remove access for anyone violating these rules. We don't owe you a warning before doing it, though we'll usually try.

The site, the product photography, the copy, and the layout are owned by Stark Side LLC or licensed to us. You don't get any rights to that content beyond reading it on the site.

Your Account

You can buy from tentmount.com without creating an account. If you create one, you give us your email and a password. The password is hashed by Shopify; we never see it in plain text.

Keep your account credentials private. If you think someone else has access to your account, change the password and email us. You're responsible for orders placed through your account until you tell us otherwise.

We can close an account that's used for fraud, abuse, or any of the prohibited uses listed above. If we close your account, any pending orders will be canceled and refunded if not yet shipped.

Purchases

This section covers how buying from tentmount.com works. The substance lives in the policies linked below; this is the summary plus the cross-references.

Pricing

Current prices live on the product pages at tentmount.com. The product page is the source of truth for what something costs at the moment you order it.

We may change prices at any time. A price change does not apply to an order you've already placed and we've already accepted.

If a product page shows a price that's clearly wrong (a typo, a missed decimal, a system error), we may decline the order and refund any payment in full. If that happens we'll tell you why.

Order Acceptance

Placing an order is your offer to buy. The order is not accepted until we send a shipment confirmation. Until then we can decline the order, for example because of a stock shortage, a payment problem, a suspected fraudulent order, an obvious pricing error, or a shipping address we can't deliver to.

If we decline an order, we'll refund any payment in full and tell you why. We don't charge a fee for declining.

International orders ship by quote. Email us at sales@starksidegear.com for a shipping quote before placing an order. International orders are final sale.

Warranty

Stark Side LLC warrants the products we sell against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for the period and on the conditions stated in our limited warranty. The warranty is non-transferable and runs to the original purchaser.

Returns

You can return products bought directly from tentmount.com under the conditions stated in our return policy. The short version: 30 days from the purchase date, restocking fee on opened or installed product, RMA required before sending anything back, return shipping label fee deducted from the refund.

International orders are final sale and are not eligible for returns.

Shipping

We ship within the United States by USPS at no charge on Stark Side Gear products. Third-party items (for example a ceiling hoist) are not covered by free shipping. International shipping is by quote.

Refunds

When a refund is owed (canceled order, accepted return, warranty resolution that involves a refund instead of a replacement), we refund the original payment method. Cash purchases are refunded by check.

The Shopify-managed refund policy covers the formal mechanics. The return policy covers fees that may be deducted from a refund.

Acceptable Use

The use restrictions in the "Use of the Site" section above apply across the whole site. A few additional rules:

  • Do not use the site to do anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
  • Do not use a customer account that isn't yours.
  • Do not impersonate another person, business, or our company in chat, reviews, or order communications.
  • Do not submit reviews you weren't asked to submit, or reviews that are paid for or otherwise compensated by anyone other than us.

We can remove reviews, chat messages, or other user-submitted content that violates these rules.

Intellectual Property

"Stark Side Gear," "The Slipstream," "The Gatekeeper," and "The Shadowline" are trademarks of Stark Side LLC. You may not use any of these names, our logo, or any confusingly similar mark in your own commerce or marketing without written permission.

All site content (copy, photography, video, illustrations, and layout) is © Stark Side LLC 2026. Customer reviews submitted through Judge.me are licensed back to Stark Side LLC for display per the Judge.me terms you accept when you submit a review.

If you think content on tentmount.com infringes a copyright you own, email us at sales@starksidegear.com with the subject line "Copyright" and tell us what work is infringed, where on the site it appears, and how to reach you. We'll review and respond.

Limitation of Liability

If something we sold you is broken or doesn't work as described, we'll make it right per the warranty and return policy. If you're trying to recover indirect damages — lost time, missed trips, costs from improvising in the field — those aren't covered. The most we'll ever owe you is what you paid for the thing in question.

That's the plain-English summary. Here's the formal version.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stark Side LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of tentmount.com or any product bought through it. That includes lost profits, lost data, loss of use, loss of goodwill, and the cost of substitute goods or services.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms, whether in contract, tort, warranty, or any other theory, is capped at the amount you paid for the product or service that gave rise to the claim. If the claim doesn't arise from a specific purchase, the cap is one hundred dollars (US$100).

This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits limitation. That includes claims for personal injury, claims for gross negligence or willful misconduct, and rights you have under Colorado consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

You agree to bring any claim arising from these terms within twelve (12) months after the claim arose. After that, the claim is barred.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of tentmount.com will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Chaffee County, Colorado, and you and Stark Side LLC each agree to that venue.

Before filing anything, please email us at sales@starksidegear.com with the subject line "Dispute" and let us try to fix it. Most problems resolve without a court near them.

Nothing in this section stops either of us from seeking emergency relief from a court if it's needed.

Updates to These Terms

We update these terms when we change how the site works, when we add or change a policy, when a law changes, or when we want to clarify something. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of the page changes when the substance changes.

For substantive updates we'll add a short note at the top of the page for a reasonable window. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree to an update, stop using the site.

If you want to see what changed in a prior version, email us and we'll send the previous version.
