I have an OVS tent which is great, but the mounts are simple and a bit clunky.
The rack on my 4runner is a Greenland Offroad rack an dis pretty low profile, so my options are limited.
I use 12 inch sections of additional series 15 extruded rails as "risers". Without these, the mounts would not work since the knobs would contact my roof.
I also mount a 180 awning on the driver side, which prohibits tent opening if the tent Is centered on the truck.
The Vanultra mount are clean and elegant and strong.
With these mounts I can easily losen them and slide the ten to the passenger side at camp to be able to use the tent and mount together.
I spoke with Trevor several times pre and post purchase and he was super helpful in both helping me determine which mounts would work for me and how to best set things up.

Work perfectly to lock your shadow mounts. Not sure anyone would try to run off with a RTT but nothing surprises me anymore. They will just have a little harder time with a set of these attached. ;)

Great product for a quick release solution for your RTT. I haven’t had to remove the RTT since I installed it, but the install was super quick, compared to having to use the saddle brackets. Glad I came across this product and company.

My application for this product is somewhat unique. I have a clamshell-style rooftop tent mounted to a small off-road trailer. Because of my driver-side awning, the tent needs to slide outward to open fully, then return to the center of the trailer for travel.

Previously, using standard mounts made this a chore that required tools every time. These quick-release mounts have turned that into a seamless task. While I don’t actually remove the tent from the trailer, the ability to quickly loosen, slide, and re-tighten the mounts by hand is a game changer. They are high-quality, easy to operate, and worked perfectly for my specific setup.

While I still need to set up my space to store the tent, this installation was simple and will allow for a simple removal of my tent.

Perfect! Install was really easy on the Bronco. Video install helped a lot so check it out. Very low profile. Clamps are built EXTREMELY well. Would definitely purchase again if needed. They even have locks for the mount.

These were perfect!! Exactly what we needed!!

Previous install caused me to wrench for 1/2 hr to bolt up. This gets old quick if you want to remove after your trip each time! With this design, install is extremely simple! It’s not cheap in price, but the quality of this is top notch. I did have an issue with T bolts not fitting in my FSR rooftop tent. So I reached out to get advice and Trevor promptly contacted me! Great product and even better customer service! You will not be disappointed!
