Stop Asking for Help, Do It Yourself
Vanultra has partnered with Flexispot to offer a safe and secure method to remove and store your roof top tent. When coupled with Vanultra's quick release mounts, you can remove or install your roof top tent all by yourself in minutes!
The Flexispot 4x4 FT Garage Ceiling Hoist is designed to lift and store 300 pounds and includes a storage rack that can be used for items off of the floor. The unique design uses a gear box and axle to wind up four wire ropes simultaneously with control. Simply use the included hand crank or attach your own electric power drill using an 8 mm socket and this adapter.
The maximum lifting range is 79" so can remove your tent and safely bring it back to the ground if desired. The hoist is constructed with heavy-duty steel and premium hardware to safely lift loads up to 300 pounds when evenly distributed.
This RTT hoist fits 12", 16" or 24" ceiling joist spacing and the axle with wire ropes comes preassembled. The installation is straight forward and takes 2 hours or less to install.
Please note that clips and lifting slings are not included and will be needed for lifting roof top tents. For best results, we recommend installing the included rack and attaching to the 4 eyelets at the top of the basket for lifting your tent.
We recommend using these Amazon products for attaching your roof top tent to the hoist.

From our experience with two installs, here are a few key tips:
- Plan your ceiling supports and vehicle parking location carefully. Ideally, you should have enough space to walk around the vehicle for easy access.
- Use masking tape on the ground to mark the ideal parking spot for perfect alignment.
- The cardboard template is a rough guide—use a stud finder and ensure you’re securing into solid wood.
- Before lifting the tent for the first time, give the cables a firm tug to confirm they have adequate support.
